ABOUT THE ORIGINAL ART:
The first nesting egg depicts Klimt's famous mural-The Kiss, an oil-on-canvas painting, detailed with gold leaf, silver, and platinum. It was painted sometime between 1907 and 1908, during Gustav Klimt's golden period.
The painting portrays a man and a woman embracing each other, their bodies entwined in elegant garments decorated in a style influenced by the contemporary Art Nouveau.
