First John bought a beautiful Nativity nesting doll in our store.
He returned to us to say thank you when he received it. He told us that it would remind him of his travelling to Saint Petersburg last summer. And that's great.
But after he asked us if we have Russian dolls with Easter theme. And we hadn't.
So there was only one way - to paint it for John.

Our customer asked us to paint these scenes:
1. Calvary (crucifixion scene)
2. The resurrection
3. The empty tomb
4. Carrying of the cross
5. Agony in the garden
6. Flying angel

He wanted to see all of these scenes. But we can make 5 or 7 pieces doll from our regular blank doll sets.
So we searched the Internet and found one more Jesus history attribute - the olive tree from the Garden of Gethsemane in Jerusalem. And what was our surprise when John told us that he visited the Holy land and this garden too!
And we had no doubts about what to paint on the 7th place of the doll.

Dimensions of this Matryoshka are:
The biggest doll height is 8 1/2" (21 cm), the diameter is 4" (10 cm)
The smallest doll height is 1 1/2" (4 cm), the diameter is 3/4" (2 cm)

Also, we signed this Matryoshka bottom for our lovely customer.
